On June 24, 2000, 24,000 ravers convened in a meadow -- their glitter-drenched bodies adorned with brightly colored whistles, pacifiers, and other various oversized plastic accessories. In the spirit of peace, love, unity and respect (a.k.a. PLUR) that is so central to raver culture, they listened and danced to DJs such as Omar Santana, Freestylers, and BBT. This video records this monumental techno event -- the Electric Daisy Carnival -- in all its glory. Images of the festival play out to an amazing soundtrack mixed especially for this video by D.J. Doran.
